Regular Sheep & Goat Sales - Regular Schedule - Every 2nd & 4th Monday at 11 am - Next sales - February 13th & 27th. Starting in January our regular winter schedule goes back to the 2nd & 4th Monday of every month at 11 am. (Except Holidays) We do receive sheep & goats on sundays previous to the monday sale - the receiving hours on Sunday are 3 pm till 8 pm. We also receive the morning of the sale beginning at 8 am and like to have everything in by 10:30 am.

Expecting 800 head for the February 13rth sale consisting of all types of lambs, feeder lambs, breeding ewes & nannies & feeder goats. Booked already are 90 bred ewes (suffolk/texel/canadian arcott cross) bred to Suffolk or Canadian Arcott due to start lambing April 10th.
Pre-booking Sheep & Goats - Part of what makes these sales successful is our fax/email that goes out to 300 producers & buyers prior to our sale which gives us an opportunity to let everyone know what is coming in. Producers are encouraged to pre-book their livestock to take advantage of this free service. If you would like to be added to receive this fax/email, please fax or email your information to us.SHEEP AND LAMB PRODUCERS: Please be aware that all sheep and lambs ARE TO BE TAGGED (with CFIA approved tags) before they leave the farm. Should they arrive without tags, and the Inspectors discover this, you are putting YOURSELF at risk of a $1300.00 fine, as well as $1300.00 for the trucker, and another $1300.00 fine for the Auction Mart. BHA is NOT a tagging station for sheep and lambs. They are NOT to leave home without a tag under any circumstance!! Regular Horse Sale - 4th Saturday of every month - tack sells at 10:30 am and horses approx. 1:30 pm - Next sale - February 25, 2012.
All saddle horses will be sold in a special feature beginning at approximately 3 pm. This will be for all saddle horses being ridden through the ring with full tack and booked in prior to 11 am Saturday. Owners must either ride their own horses or arrange for their own riders. Horses have to be sound to be in this feature. *New For This Sale* - big screen tv's to better show off your horse. If you are bringing a horse for this feature, you can make a dvd of your horse in action, whatever it does best and we will show that on our tv's while we are selling it. This is obviously working as our top seller in Julys' sale brought $4,950 while we showed a dvd of it working on cattle and roping. Important: our DVD player only reads the following formats: DVD-R or DVD-RW, NOT DVD+R OR DVD+RW
*Important Notice* New regulations enforced by CFIA require the seller to fill out an (EID FORM) - click on the previous highlighted words to download. This is a declaration that is to be signed by the owner of the horse (an agent is not accepted). There are also questions to answer concerning length of ownership, drugs or vaccines administered and illnesses. Directions for filling this form out are available here (instructions).Exotic Bird & Livestock Sale - (consignment form) Spring dates: April 14, 2012 & May 12, 2012. Fall dates: Sept. 8, 2012 & Oct. 13, 2012. All sales begin at 10:30 am. Because of overwhelming response and demand for these sales, we are going with 2 sales in the spring and 2 sales in the fall. However, there is a limit to number of boxes per sale and that being 650. Once this is reached, we will be deferring customers to selling in the next sale. So book early to avoid being disappointed. We are expecting another good selection of rare & exotic birds, pheasants, waterfowl as well as exotic livestock such as miniature horses, miniature donkeys, llamas, alpacas, exotic sheep, miniature cattle, etc. Phone the office or phone Miles at 780-656-2405 to book in your birds or livestock.
