There will be no regular Cattle sales in 2010. The management would like to extend their gratitude to the local producers who have supported us through the years. We hold much appreciation for the staff and producers for what we have been able to accomplish together in building what was a very viable cattle market. Following is our schedule for upcoming sales.
Regular Sheep & Goat & Feeder Pigs Sales - Regular Schedule - Every Second & Fourth Monday at 11 am - Next sales - August 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th. Starting in August till Christmas, sheep & goat sales will be run every Monday except on holiday weekends.
Regular Horse Sale - 4th Saturday of every month - tack sells at 10:30 am and horses approx. 1:30 pm - Next sale - August 28th - All saddle horses will be sold in a special feature beginning at approximately 2 pm. This will be all horses received prior to 10 am Saturday and horses that will be rode through the ring with full tack. Owners must either ride their own horses or arrange for their own riders. Horses have to be sound to be in this feature. Booked already is a 2-horse trailer.
Exotic Bird & Livestock Sale - (consignment form) Fall dates are August 14, 2010, September 18, 2010, October 16, 2010. All sales begin at 11 am. Because of overwhelming response and demand for these sales, we are going with 3 sales in the spring and 3 sales in the fall. However, there is a limit to number of boxes per sale and that being 500. Once this is reached, we will be deferring customers to selling in the next sale. So book early to avoid being disappointed. We are expecting another good selection of rare & exotic birds, pheasants, waterfowl as well as exotic livestock such as miniature horses, miniature donkeys, llamas, alpacas, exotic sheep, miniature cattle, etc. Phone the office or phone Miles at 780-656-2405 to book in your birds or livestock.
